TOURNAMENT ELITE SERIES

(T-Type – Elite Tier)

Mythic Tournament Elite Series Electric Guitar – T-Type – MGC Custom Single-Coils – USA Built

The Tournament Elite is the T-type taken seriously. A balanced alder body and a bolt-on quarter-sawn maple neck, built in Austin to the same standard as everything else that leaves the bench — the classic shape, without the compromises the classic usually comes with.

Two MGC Custom single-coils do the obvious job first: the twang and the bite this guitar is bought for, clear from the neck through to the bridge. The push-pull is what opens it up. Pull it and the pickups rewire from parallel into series, which thickens them into something much closer to a humbucker — fatter, louder, rounder — without a second set of pickups and without losing the guitar you started with. Push it back down and the twang is exactly where you left it.

Choose the fingerboard to suit your hands: maple for a tighter, brighter attack, rosewood for a warmer one with a little more give. Right or left handed, at no extra cost either way.
